This month it’s all about the festivities, so highlights for the month of December are Edinburgh’s Christmas, and of course the famous Edinburgh Hogmanay Party.

Spectacle of Light

A magical after-dark family adventure.

Breakfast With Santa
3rd December 2022, Airdrie working Men’s Club
Enjoy a magical Christmas party, fun filled entertainment and a special visit from Santa.

February Fest
3rd – 31st December 2022, Glencoe
A month of good beer, good music, pub quizzes, whisky tasting masterclass, and maybe some snow. What more could you want?

Edinburgh Christmas Run
4th December 2022
5K, 10K, and Santa toddle, Santa’s Grotto, festive stalls and refreshments.

Jingle Bell Fun Run
4th December 2022
Wear jingle bells on your hats, jackets, gloves, shoes or wherever you choose, and be part of an amazing Jingle Bell orchestra! Bells will be provided. Fancy dress is optional.

Dundee Santa Dash
4th December 2022, Dundee City Square
We will once again be raising money for The ARCHIE Foundation and are hoping to get over 1000 “Santas” taking part and getting into the Festive Spirit.

The National Whisky Festival
10th December 2022, 1 Summerhall , Edinburgh South EH9 1PL
Two extensive three-and-a-half hour sessions of unique whisky tastings, pop-up food, drink, craft stalls, and entertainment.

Big Feed Christmas Family Special
10th – 11th December 2022, SEC, Glasgow
Family day out with lots to see and do including play areas, face painters, storytellers, balloon twisters, carol singers and Santa’s Grotto.

Elf – A Christmas Arena Spectacular
10th – 11th December 2022, OVO Hydro, Glasgow
amazing film backdrops on a huge LED screen plus a mobile stage that travels the auditorium, so everyone gets a close-up view.

Hoolie in the Hydro

Join us as for a party to remember as Gary Innes has organised the biggest night of Scottish traditional music to ever take place.

Irn Bru Carnival
23rd December 2022 – 15th January 2023, SECC Glasgow
Europe’s largest indoor fun fair, with over 60 rides and attractions, as well as new and exciting additions for thrill seekers, families and more kids rides than ever.

Edinburgh’s Hogmanay
30th December 2022 – 1st January 2023, Edinburgh
The world’s greatest New Year party with days and nights of amazing events and fun, with the traditional torchlit procession, street performers, fireworks, concerts, ceilidh, and of course, the big Hogmanay party itself.

Edinburgh Hogmanay: Year after year the Hogmanay street party brings something new: Torchlight Procession, Carnival, Street Theatre and more.
