My Favourite Pitlochry Restaurants

Updated 2017-01-11

SteakChoosing my favourite Pitlochry restaurants wasn’t an easy task. Now, I have to say that if you ever leave here and you’re still hungry, then you only have yourself to blame.

The choices you are faced with here, along with the portions served up in most of the restaurants and tea rooms are a food lovers dream. For a town like Pitlochry with a small population, they excel when it comes to catering for visitors, and the warm, friendly welcome may have you wanting to stay.

My favourite Pitlochry restaurants :

The Old Mill Inn
Mill Lane
Pitlochry
PH16 5BH
Tel : 01796 474020

If it’s a steak you’re looking for, this is the place to go. With a choice of around a dozen different steaks on the menu, you’ll find your perfect dish. The lunch menu is almost as good as the dinner menu, and well priced.

Victoria’s Restaurant & Coffee Shop
45 Atholl Road
Pitlochry
PH16 5BX
Tel : 01796 472670

Coffee shop by day and Bistro restaurant by night, you could eat here all the time. Friendly service can be expected here as they dish you up anything from a full Scottish breakfast to a full range of a la carte food.

Fern Cottage Restaurant & Tea House
Ferry Road
Pitlochry
Tel : 01796 473840

A delightful place to eat on a nice warm day, with a large sunny terrace on award winning gardens. Good service and good food, with choices of traditional Scottish food, or Mediterranean. Do a pre-theatre dinner.

Caffe Scozia
113 Atholl Road
Pitlochry
Tel : 01796 4724691

Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, you could stay here all day. Traditional food cooked to perfection, and good service as well.

That’s it for my favourite restaurants in Pitlochry, and I hope you get to try a couple of them. There are many restaurants in Pitlochry, these are the ones that appealed.
